1tspwhole cloves
1tspwhole all spice
Waterfully cover the ingredients.
Instructions
Clean and remove stems from apples. Cut apples and oranges into quarters and add into a crockpot. Add cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, whole allspice, maple syrup, brown sugar.
Immerse ingredients in water. Stir well and cover with a lid. Cook on high for about 6 hours.
Carefully strain through a mesh strainer. Use a spoon to strain excess moisture. Discard the fruit mixture. Stir and adjust sweetness to your liking.
Store in a carafe or pitcher. Serve hot or cold. Cider will last up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
Notes
I suggest peeling the orange. The peel has a bitter flavor that took a few edits after the cider was done to balance/sweeten it.
