Frosted Cranberries

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup cranberries

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and dry cranberries. In a saucepan over medium low, combine 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup of sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves about 3 minutes.
  • Once the sugar dissolves, remove cranberries from the liquid and place on a wire tray. Reserve liquid and put into a mason jar and use for cocktails. Let cranberries cool for at least 30 minutes.
  • Place 1 cup of sugar In a bowl. Toss cranberries in the sugar until fully coated. Freeze cranberries and use as needed.
  • Put them on a cocktail stem and garnish your favorite cocktails and mocktails!
  • Enjoy!

Notes

You can also make these cranberries by making the simple syrup first (water and sugar). Heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat. Then add the cranberries. Mix to coat. Remove cranberries from the pot and place them on a wired rack to dry for at least 30 minutes before coating in sugar.
