Easy, cheesy chicken cheesesteaks. An easy and delicious dinner idea. Comes together in under 30 minutes, and that my friends is a win!

ingredients for Cheesy Chicken Cheesesteaks?
- Chicken: I used thinly sliced chicken breast, cut into pieces.
- Peppers: thinly sliced.
- Onions: yellow onion, thinly sliced
- Seasonings: combination of onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika and Tajìn.
- Cheese: your cheese of choice. I used pepper jack. Swiss would also be really good.
- sandwich buns: I love a good potato roll for my sandwiches. You can also use Hawaiian rolls.
- Potato Rolls
For the sauce
- Mayo
- Sriracha
- Chili Garlic Sauce
- Garlic powder or paste

Easy Cheesy Chicken Cheesesteaks
Equipment
- Cast Iron Skillet or griddle
Ingredients
- 4 Thinly sliced chicken breast cut into pieces
- 1/2 green bell pepper
- 1/2 yellow onion
- pepper jack cheese
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp Tajìn
- 1/4 salt + pepper
- Tony's creole seasoning optional
- Potato Rolls
For the sauce
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 2 tbsp sriracha
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder or garlic paste
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce optional
Instructions
- Thinly slice chicken breast into small pieces. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, Tajìn and smoked paprika. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes
- Thinly slice bell peppers in onions.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken and cook until it's almost cooked through. Next add in the peppers and onions. Sautè until your desired doneness and the chicken is cooked through.
- Reduce the heat, then add the cheese. Cover and allow the lid to the pan and allow the steam to melt the cheese. Move the chicken and cheese to one side of the pan. Add a knob of butter and toast the buns.
- For the sauce combine mayo, Sriracha, chili garlic sauce. Mix until combined.
- Assemble the sandwich by adding a bit of the chicken + cheese mixture. Top with the sauce and enjoy!
